“Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.”

That mantra got the Dillon Panthers through impossible odds, last-minute comebacks, and character-building defeats.

But sometimes your to-do list feels more daunting than a Texas state championship.

What if the same dramatic, rain-soaked inspiration that pushed high school football players to greatness was on your desktop, telling you that this quarterly planning document isn’t just spreadsheet cells – it’s your legacy?

So... we built a thing.

How it works:

• Enter any task from your to-do list

• Hit “Coach!” for a personalized Coach Taylor-style motivational speech

• Experience the drama with background music and rain effects (because all great motivational speeches happen in the rain)

• Get fired up to tackle your tasks like they’re the 🏈 Texas State Championship 🏈

Things we learned from the thing:

1. Starting with what you know pays off. This idea came from earlier work with text-to-voice meditations. To-do lists felt like a natural next step for voice integration—they’re familiar, universal, and desperately in need of motivation.

2. Building stuff should be fun. Something about adding dramatic, rain-soaked motivation to boring work tasks makes us laugh. But then we realized it actually helped us get things done. Great tools solve problems while not taking things too seriously.

3. The right combination creates magic. Voice generation, music sync, and rain effects combine to create that perfect dramatic Friday Night Lights moment. When you hit play, the speech syncs with the music at just the right moment, and the rain animation kicks in because all great speeches happen in downpours.

4. AI experiments help us learn. This project let us play with different AI models, testing how quickly voice generation can happen and how well various systems capture that specific Coach Taylor motivational vibe.

5. Clear 👀, full 💕, can't lose 😤. Sometimes the most useful tools are the ones with personality. There’s something about hearing “You’re one commit away from greatness” that actually makes you stop procrastinating and start coding.
